Experience the transformational healing of Yoga Therapy for Better Sleep.
This 10 hour workshop is designed for people with sleep issues and also for Yoga Therapists, Teachers and Health Professionals working with clients who experience poor-quality sleep. Even beginners can benefit from the information and materials presented.
The intention of the workshop is to gain an understanding of the factors that affect sleep and provide the following:
- A yogic perspective on sleep function.
- A morning practice to deepen respiratory rhythms.
- An evening practice to calm the body and induce a state of deep relaxation.
- A Yin practice that targets the energetic flow in the body to support better sleep.
- Yoga Therapy methods and principles for adapting and using asana, pranayama, mantra, guided relaxation and meditation to create an integrated practice.
